This series began in 2006 when visiting the Great Plains of eastern New Mexico.

The winds were fierce, the dust pervasive and the desolation was a reminder

of the Dust Bowl era. If I’d hadn’t known the year I was traveling,

I could have easily been traveling “back in time”.
